Holds a Doctorate in Education Sciences from the University of Cuauhtémoc, Mexico, a Master’s degree in Language Teaching from the UPTC, and a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish-English Education Sciences from Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia. He is currently the Coordinator of Instituto Internacional de Idiomas at the Aguazul Campus and an Academic Support Teacher for the Bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages, with an emphasis on English. He has been part of the English Language and American Culture Exchange Program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, USA, and participated in an exchange program with the Hebei University of Foreign Studies, China. He is a member of the IMCLE research group and currently leads the GRIEGOC research group at the UPTC.
