PhD student in Educational Innovation and Digital Culture at Universidad de Cartagena. Master’s degree in English Language Teaching for Self-Directed Learning from Universidad de la Sabana and TESOL certification from the University of Sydney, Australia. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages from UPTC. Fulltime professor at Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia (UPTC) and member of the Investigación Multidisciplinar en Culturas y Lenguas Extranjeras (IMCLE) research group. Her lines of research address the use of ICT in foreign language teaching and learning, selfregulation strategies for learning, technologies applied to bilingual education, instructional design in virtual and hybrid environments, and the implementation of active methodologies in language teaching.
